Trenchworks Makes Its Debut to the Atlanta Tech Community
ATLANTA, OCTOBER 22- Trenchworks LLC is making its debut in the growing Atlanta Technology community as a feature Start-Up for The Atlanta Business Project; a multi-day business event that will connect 100 start-ups with investors, consumers, and press. The mobile solutions company develops customized websites and applications to suit the needs of small businesses and the individual consumer. The Start-Up was established in 2012 by CEO Rashad Blalock who later partnered with CTO Ivan Gromov with an idea to create one major application based on theme park time management. However they also saw a need for mobile solutions that would manage school operations, public transportation, grocery shopping, or learning a language from a local expert and more.
CEO Rashad Blalock, 26, attended Morehouse College with a concentration in Business Finance and worked for a cellphone company before creating Trenchworks. Blalock is from West Lafayette, IN and has permanently relocated to Atlanta to nurture his business in the growing technology market. Blalock created Trenchworks to enhance the use of mobile technology, while personalizing each application and/or website to meet the essentials of everyday life.
“This company is a spawn of available technology and innovative ideas that relents the control to the consumer in a consistently evolving ‘techy’ society,” Blalock stated, “We’re excited to be a part of the growing technology community in Atlanta. We look forward to being a part of The Atlanta Business Project and collaborating with some of Atlanta’s greatest minds to deliver products that make life work for you.”
CTO Ivan Gromov, 24, is a Russian-American citizen who studied at the Art Institute of Colorado with a concentration in Web Design and Interactive Media, before meeting and working with Blalock at the same cellphone company. He has previously designed websites for Aurora Parks and Recreation and West Coast Remix and corporate identity work for Eagle Net.
“We are ready to push the boundaries of what an application can do,” Gromov stated, “We already have applications and websites that put major entities in the palm of your hand. However there is a need for a technological expansion on how we interact with neighborhood businesses, schools, grocery stores etc. We look forward to collaborating with the businesses and mentors that are a part of The Atlanta Business Project and hopefully expand Atlanta’s technology market.”
Trenchworks is currently designing the website for The MultiLanguage Center located in the Atlanta area and headed by Al Nimri. The center provides translation, interpreting, and language training services for individuals and businesses both domestic and international. Their clients include: American Network Services, Coca-Cola, Diplomatic LS, Marriot Marquis Hotel and more.
Trenchworks will be featured in an upcoming documentary through The Atlanta Business Project which will detail their Start-Up process, current projects, company background and a testimony from their client Al Nimri.
