The Atlanta Business Project is a three day business workshop and 1 day expo, in which start-ups will learn from industry experts and obtain investments. The purpose of this multi-day business event is to cut your development time in half.
Tell us about your business or idea to help us gain further understanding of your start-up and start-up needs for the workshop. Upon completion of this form you will be invited to apply to our workshop.
***We are unable to accept every applicant to reduce repetition of the same niche. We want to make sure our investors have a wide range of different industries to invest with. Apply early to ensure your industry has not been saturated for this workshop.

What you'll do
- Showcase your products/services in front of targeted consumers, press and investors at our Start-Up Expo!
- All Businesses will be provided with a booth at the Business Expo with table, two chairs, waste basket and a display for business logos. The booth will be draped 3 sides with the back being 8 feet tall and the two sides will be 3 feet high.
- Additional items may be covered such as writing utensils and paper. If you are providing food samples and need sampling supplies you will have to provide those. If there is anything that you think you may need such as an easel for display purposes, projector screens, electrical supply, etc let us know. We will do our best to help provide all of your essentials.
Your Angel Investing
Businesses will be given the opportunity to impress investors from local and national corporations; in addition to local clientele contributing to the start-up through crowdfunding at the Business Expo. Each industry is different so there is not a minimum or maximum amount for a start-up; however we recommend that everyone does their industry based research about estimated cost to start a business. On site negotiations with investors during the Expo are up to the discretion of the business owner (s).
The goal is to bring funding as well as awareness about local businesses: to the general public, industries, and investors. Complete funding is not guaranteed, however exposure and funding towards the start-up is guaranteed.
** The Atlanta Business Project does not retain any of the investment funds. Any relationship formed between an investor and business is strictly between the two parties. A follow up survey about your entity’s success will be the only communication post-convention.
